Geraldine Mills was born in Galway.
Her poetry collections are Unearthing Your Own (Cork, Bradshaw Books, 2001; Toil the Dark Harvest (Cork, Bradshaw Books, 2004); The Weight of Feathers (Galway, Arlen House, 2009); and An Urgency Of Stars (Arlen House, 2009).
Her short story collections are Lick of the Lizard (Arlen House, 2006); and Weight of Feathers (Arlen House, 2007).
She was the Millennium winner of the Hennessy/ Tribune New Irish Writer Award for her story The Lick of the Lizard.
She lives in Galway.
