Hugh McFadden was born in Derry.
His collections are City of Mirrors (Dublin, Beaver Row Press, 1985); Pieces of Time (Belfast, Lapwing Press, 2004); Selected Poems: Elegies and Epiphanies (Belfast, Lagan Press, 2005); and Empire of Shadows (Cliffs of Moher, Salmon Poetry, 2012).
He is literary executor of the estate of John Jordan, and has edited Jordan’s Collected Poems (Dublin, Dedalus Press, 1991); Collected Stories (Dublin, Poolebeg Press, 1991); Crystal Clear : The Collected Prose of John Jordan (Dublin, The Lilliput Press, 2006); and John Jordan: Selected Poems (Dedalus Press, 2008),
He lives in Dublin.
