Randolph Healy was born in Scotland in 1956, his family moving to Dublin eighteen months later.

He has published 25 Poems (Dublin, The Beau Press, 1983); a pamphlet, Envelopes (UK, Cambridge Poetical Histories, 1996); and most recently a series of chapbooks, Rana Rana!(Bray, Wild Honey Press, 1997); Arbor Vitae ( Wild Honey Press, 1997); Flame (Wild Honey Press, 1997); Scales (Wild Honey Press, 1998); and Green 532: Selected Poems 1983–2000 (Cambridge UK, Salt, 2002).

Also a mathematician, which informs his work, he lives in Wicklow, where he edits Wild Honey Press.
