Trudy Hayes was born in Dublin in 1962.
Her stories are anthologized in Virgins and Hyacinths (Dublin, The Attic Press) and Ireland’s Women – Writings Past and Present (Dublin, Gill & MacMillan, 1994).
She is also the author of The Politics of Seduction (The Attic Press, 1990).
Her plays include Out Of My Head, which was nominated for the Stewart Parker Theatre Award, and Making Love To Yorick (The Samuel Beckett Theatre, for the 1998 Dublin Theatre Festival, and also the 1998 Belfast Theatre Festival).
She lives in Dublin.
