
Rose Doyle was born in Dublin.
Her novels are Images (Dublin, Poolebeg, 1993); Kimbay (Dublin, Town and Country/London, MacMillan, 1994); Alva (MacMillan, 1996); Perfectly Natural (MacMillan, 1997); In Secret Sin (Dublin, TownHouse/London, Pan MacMillan, 2000); Fate and Tomorrow (London, Hodder and Stoughton, 2002); Friends Indeed (Hodder and Stoughton, 2003); Gambling with Darkness (Hodder and Stoughton, 2003); and Shadows will Fall(Hodder and Stoughton, 2003).
She has also written novels for children: Tarantula (Dublin, Poolebeg, 1992); The Invisible Monk (Poolebeg, 1994); Goodbye, Summer, and Goodbye (Dublin, The Attic Press, 1994).
Her non fiction for adults includes The Story of Joe Brown (Dublin, New Island Books, 2004); and Trade Names (New Island Books, 2004).
She lives in Dublin.
