Catherine Barry was born in 1963 in Dublin.

Her novels are The House That Jack Built (London, Simon & Schuster, 2001); Null & Void (Simon & Schuster, 2002); and Skindeep (Simon & Schuster, 2004).

Her non-fiction is Charlie & Me (Dublin, New Island books, 2011).

She lives in Dublin.
