Patrick Quigley was born in 1953 in Co Monaghan.

His novels are Borderland (Tralee, Brandon, 1994); and The Hours of her Face (Brandon, 1999).

He has also published a biography, The Polish Irishman: The Life and Times of Count Casimir Markievicz (Dublin, The Liffey Press, 2012).

An active member of the Irish Polish Society, he lives in Dublin.
