Mark Granier was born in London in 1957 and brought up in Dublin.

His collections are airborne (Cliffs of Moher, Salmon Publishing, 2001); Skyroad (Salmon Publishing, 2007); and Fade Street (London, Salt Publishing, 2010).

His awards include a first prize in the UK New Writer Poetry Competition, an Arts Council Bursary in 2002 and the Vincent Buckley Poetry Prize in 2004.

Also a photographer, he lives in Dublin.
