
Emer Martin was born in Dublin in 1968.
Her novels are Breakfast In Babylon (Dublin, Wolfhound, 1995/New York, Houghton Mifflin, 1997); More Bread Or I’ll Appear (New York, Houghton Mifflin, 1999/London, Alison & Busby, 2000) ; and Baby Zero (Dingle, Brandon, 2007).
Breakfast In Babylon won The Kerry Ingredients Book of the Year 1996 at Listowel Writers Week. Her novella Teeth Shall Be Provided, appeared in a collection of of novellas, The Rover’s Return, in 1998.
Her awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2000.
She lives in Co Meath.
